Sad, but True

“The only Bible the world reads is the daily life of the Christian. And what the world needs now is a revised version.” - Unknown.

Any thoughts?

I guess it depends what you've been exposed to.

If you're saturated in the Word and hear great preaching and enjoy great Godly fellowship, that statement sounds out of place.

But I suppose also, if you are in the middle of a spiritual desert (personally) or the midst of a people who are in a spiritual desert or just devoid of Christ, that quote might have more meaning.

The "Christian" that the world is used to being exposed to is indeed in need of revision. When a worldly person thinks about what a Christian is, they think of somebody just like them, but goes to church sometimes. Obviously, not true Christianity.
