Will I ever be done with school?
I work at Norco High School.
I am completing my undergraduate education at CBU.
I am taking transferable elective units at RCC.
3 different schools all at once.
Today was the first day of working at Norco High School. I am officially a freshmen all over again! I enjoy being at school and I know that the Lord has me in school, both for work and education, for a specific reason. It is sweet to be a student, to work with students, and also to minister to students (high school ministry).

Resolved Conference
This past weekend I went to the Resolved Conference out in Palm Springs with my brother. It was a great blessing! The theme of the conference was on sin. By recognizing just how sinful I am, I can realize just how amazing God's grace it. Click on any of the links to download the sermons. They are great!

21st Birthday!
I turned 21! I had a great birthday simply because I have wonderful people in my life! I went to Ooka for dinner with my family; it's my favorite! We also had some good pie at my house. Also, I went to Chipotle with some friends for a small celebration; it was a blessing. And at work one of the students made me a cake and we went to Scandia! It was a great blessing! Thank the Lord for another year.

Memorial Day Weekend
For Memorial Day weekend Michelle and I had a great opportunity to go to Del Mar and have a mini vacation! Since we aren't married, it is hard to get away and stay at different places. But our friend works for Air1 and got us free passes for Spirit West Coast and I stayed in a hotel room with other guys and Michelle stayed with some girls. We had an amazing time! It was such a refreshing time for both of us. Here are some descriptive pictures!

Flashback from North Carolina
In the Summer of 2007 I went with the SWAT team to North Carolina to support the Harvest Crusade. Like all SWAT trips, we invited tons of people out to the crusade and I had a great conversation in one of the malls. I talked to a man named Robert, shared the gospel with him, and he decided to ask God for forgiveness by himself as I stood and watched him. It was pretty cool because we so commonly resort to having them recite and repeat the "sinner's prayer," but he decided to pray himself.
Anyways, the other day at work I received a phone call and the area code was 408. I thought, "random voice recorded message," and I hung it up. Then the phone rang again so I stepped outside of the class and answered it. Well, it was that guy Robert from North Carolina! I never talked to him after that day in the mall and he told me that he had found my cell phone number in his wallet and he wanted to call and ask for prayer.
He said that within the last two weeks he really started to take his relationship with God seriously, but he was still struggling because of certain situations in his life. He randomly found my number in his wallet and decided to call me.
Isn't that cool that after talking to some guy nearly two years ago randomly calls asking for prayer?

Disneyland Field Trip!
I went on a field trip to Disneyland last Thursday with my work. Phil and I had such a great time! I truly loved it and enjoyed every moment of it because we had a blast and Phil had so much fun. After we rode the rockets, the ride operator gave Phil the Honorary Citizen of Disneyland button! Check out some pictures!

Winter Camp
I had a wonderful weekend at our high school camp. I was convicted about many things in my life, especially time management in regards to quiet time with the Lord. There were nine guys in my group, where I was able to counsel them along with my good friend and co-counselor, Aaron. All I wanted to do was to make sure they knew what the gospel was, so I continually described what justification is, which lead into sanctification. One of the highlights of the group was when I was describing how Christ took our sins upon his body and in return, gave us his righteousness. Now the Father looks at us and now sees Christ's perfection, not ours. One of the guys said, "Kc, I just don't get it. Like, it's incomprehensible." In other words, he was trying to say that it is too good to be true. I was very excited about this because I really wanted my group to understand what Christ did, he brought us to peace with God (Rom 5:1).
Pedro Garcia taught on Romans 13:11-14. He really ministered to me because I need to wake up (v.11), walk uprightly (v.13), and put on the Lord Jesus Christ (v.14).
Another thing I thought about a lot was the song "Holy Fire." It says, "Holy fire, burn away, my desire for anything that is not of you but is of me." I want to be able to see this in my life, because those words are easy to sing, but hard to live.
Here are a few pictures from camp:
